This is the case of a Primiparous calved on December 2nd. FEEDLive sent an alert for a drop of Rumination on January 06.

The farmer very quickly suspected a ketosis and began treatment on the evening of January 6.

At the monthly performance test on the 10th of January, the cow produced only 18 kg of milk (Fat 63.5, Protein 24.6) and was confirmed as having severe ketosis.

• FEEDLive permitted to the farmer to detect the disorder 4 days earlier - Anticipation = faster recovery.
• FEEDLive also enabled the farmer to validate the positive action of the treatment the very next day (rumination).

During the February test, the cow was at 33 kg of milk, which limited the loss of milk at the peak of lactation!
